Getting started!
Create free Twin NFTs for your physical products in 5 minutes with 3 easy steps.
1. Create your profile
Visit app.twinu.com and create your Twinu account.
Personalize your profile by clicking on your account image and then "Profile settings".
2. Create your Twins
Click on "Create" and then "Twin".
Describe your product: By selecting a "type", you will be suggested "smart properties" for this product type. Using these makes your products "smarter", their Twins become machine-readable and can be searched, filtered or accessed via voice assistants for example (voice skill to be launched Q1 2023).
A new collection will be created with the new Twin which can be edited afterwards.
You just added a Twin to your product! Currently, it is visible only to you. You can edit or delete it anytime.
We also offer a batch import feature (e.g. via csv files). Contact us if interested.
3. Mint and transfer your Twins
In order to make the Twin visible or transfer it to others you have to mint it on the blockchain. With Twinu you don't need a wallet and don't pay gas fees.
Two options:
Without wallet: Airdrop the Twin NFT into the wallet of a buyer of your product by specifying the buyer's wallet in the address field.
With wallet: If you want to mint your Twin NFT before transferring it, you can mint it to your wallet. This way, your Twin NFTs get visible on many marketplaces and you can sell your product via its Twin NFT. You can also later transfer the Twin NFT to the customer or use claimable links (we cover fees in this case and also provide the claimable links, contact us for more information).
Note: After you airdrop the Twin NFT into someone else's wallet, you cannot edit the twin.
Optional: Link your product to its Twin NFT
You don't have to but you can physically link your product to it's Twin NFT via a tag.
Choose the link
Every Twin NFT comes with three types of links, we recommend using the Twin NFT's link on app.twinu.com which is optimized for physical products:
1. Twin NFT link on app.twinu.com (recommended).
2. NFT link on other NFT-marketplaces (Opensea, Looksrare, etc).
3. Token address on ethereum/polygon scan website.
Choose the tag
Attach the link to your physical product:
1. Create a QR code of the link, for example with QR-Generator.
2. Write the link into an NFC Chip, for example with the app "NFC Tools".
